Chassis Inspection – Assembly – TÜV Approval
The decision was made at the beginning of the year: during the annual works meeting in January, we announced our plans to acquire a new truck for our mixing plant. The aim was to create a vehicle tailored precisely to our operational requirements – robust, efficient, and ready for daily use. Under the direction of our workshop manager Lauri, the technical planning was carried out, incorporating both engineering considerations and hands-on feedback from day-to-day operations.
A key milestone was the chassis inspection at our bodywork partner Kempf in Bad Marienberg. During this stage, essential components were reviewed, and custom features were coordinated. Early optimization is crucial here – it helps to avoid costly modifications later on.
Next came the painting of the thermal tipper body in our signature Schütz red, followed shortly by the so-called “wedding” – the stage where the body and chassis are permanently joined. At this point, the truck takes on its final form for the first time.
Following successful technical approval by TÜV, the vehicle has been cleared for delivery. The final handover has taken place – and everything is ready for the truck to go into service. Driver René and his colleagues are already looking forward to the latest addition to our fleet.
