100 Years Wilhelm Schütz

Event with partners from associations and administration

100 years of Wilhelm Schütz: to mark this very special occasion, the Schütz family invited around 250 guests to the Bürgerhaus Schupbach on the exact day of its founding by master plasterer Wilhelm Schütz, 24 April, including long-standing partners from associations and administration, esteemed colleagues from the construction industry and other guests of honour.

The supporting programme included speeches, jazzy sounds by the ‘Swing Size Orchestra’ and a lunch buffet with all kinds of delicacies for the physical well-being. We would like to express our special thanks to all the employees who helped to organise the event. With your creativity and tireless efforts, you contributed significantly to a successful day!

More than once during the speeches, we also remembered Ottmar Wilhelm Schütz, who passed away in March 2022 and, from what we know of him, would certainly have enjoyed the event very much. In his place, our new Managing Director Maximilian Schütz eloquently led us through the day and also talked about the great importance his father had for the further development of the company, both professionally and personally.

The day concluded with the premiere of the ‘100 Years of Wilhelm Schütz’ anniversary film, in which numerous Schütz employees immortalised the past, present and future of the company with their anecdotes in around 25 minutes on the silver screen.

Impressions from the event

Coming soon

But the 25-minute long version of the film is just the beginning: at the grand-scale summer party for all Schütz employees and families on 22 June in Weilburg’s ‘Wilhelm-Schütz-Stadion’, a 45-minute long version of the film will be shown, providing even more personal and in-depth insights into the history of the company. Additionally, there will be live music in a marquee, food and drinks as well as play activities for children.

We are looking forward to the screening and the summer party!
